Our Story since 1960s

Everest Industries is a Government registered Company established in 1969 by M.P.Chinnaswamy Goundar, a large-scale agriculturist.

M.P.Chinnaswamy Goundar is one of the sons of Palanisamy Goundar (Kolathottathu Chinna Goundar). Hereditarily, we owned land of 100 acres. We cultivated our land with traditional Bullock wooden plough with 6 sets of Bullocks. When my father Chinnaswamy Gounder took charge of the Land, he found the real struggle of all the farmers cultivating their large scale Lands with Labours without modern equipments.

Since he wanted to develop and modernize our farmland, he bought an MF Tractor with a Spring Tiller plough and a two Disc Plough. After ploughing, he was not able to complete all the farm works without modern farm implements for specific works such as Bund forming, Levelled bed forming, Ridges and furrows forming, channel making and more. So he planned to search for modern implements for Tractor and he could not find any such implements in the market suitable for the traditional Tamil cultivation method.

He planned to develop implements to complete the works on the farm after ploughing. At last, he started an R&D Work-shop to manufacture the implements by himself. He invented ‘Bund former with leveller’, ‘Bund former with ridger’ and ‘Channel maker’. He trailed and tested in our land. It was a great success and appreciated by the masses.

He also wanted to help and support other Farmers to develop their farmlands. He approached Massey Ferguson Company at Chennai to test the invented implements and market them to the Farmers through their Dealers all over India. After 15 years of testing through J-Farm, we received approval to tie up with Massey Ferguson for selling the products all over India through TAFE dealers.

He then found that Farmers cannot afford 3 implements separately. So he decided to combine all 3 in 1 (Bund former with leveller, Bund former with ridger, Channel maker).

He also parallelly started to manufacture Steel Furniture and invests in R&D and manufacturing various types of Farm Implements & equipments – Wet-grinder, Land leveller, steam boilers for rice mill, Modern rice mill machinery, Domestic Jet pump, Sugarcane Bullock cart, Open-well Pump set Craine and many more.

Myself with thorough knowledge in Agriculture and R&D skill, I stepped into the Business to support my father in the year 1982. We served Farmers all over India through Ferguson and received appreciation and satisfactory comments. I started to invest in R&D and manufacturing various types of Farm Implements & equipments – Bullock Agri Iron Plough, Special Plough 5 Tine Cultivator, Satellite Dish Anntanae, Electric curing machine for Baniyan factory, Bunds maker, Trench maker, Transport Box, 12 Disc Plough, Sugarcane earthing up ridger with flatter for Mini tractor, Raised bed maker (single row, two-row), Land leveller – Double-side, Solar pump for open well and bore well, 2 Row Bedmaker, Hand weeder (6 inches, 12 inches), Raised Bedmaker – 4 in 1, Semi-automatic Seedlings planter, Land Leveller for Mini Tractor, Bedmaker for Mini Tractor, and many more.

We reached out to all the states of India even Nepal and got recognitions from farmers through MF for our Brand name ‘Everest Industries’ and our company. At present, we earned 25,000+ customers all over India and overseas.

With full enthusiasm, I naturally had a good interest in Agriculture and my ambition was to modernize farmers in all amenities. With the same energy for 40 years, I’m serving the farmers till now.

Still, I had the thirst of bringing up Farmers who are the Heart of our Country. My Future ambition is to establish a Television channel especially for agriculture on various platforms like web TV and Satellite Channel.
